Rice Chana Dal Chilla

HEALTHY BREAKFAST FOR KIDS AND BREAKFAST

 Rice Chana Dal Chilla:

  1. Ingredients for Rice Chana Dal Chilla:
  2.  rice, basmati: 1.5 tbsp
  3.  Bengal gram dal: 1.5 tbsp
  4.  Carrot: ½ piece (small sized)
  5.  Bell pepper (finely chopped): 2 tbsp
  6.  Onion (finely chopped): 1 tbsp
  7.  Garlic: 1 clove
  8.  Green chilly (sliced): 1 tsp
  9.  Olive oil: 1 tsp
  10.  Salt to taste

Instructions for Rice Chana Dal Chilla:

  • Allow rice and chana dal to steep in water for a period of 3 to 4 hours. Drain it. Add garlic clove and green chilly to it and grind using a little amount of water.
  • Add all the remaining ingredients except oil. Mix well.
  • Heat a griddle and grease it using a little amount of oil. 
  • Pour the mixture over it and spread using a ladle to form a circle. Utilize the remaining oil to cook the dish evenly on both sides.
  • Serve hot.
