Take care of yourself

We are always thinking about how to keep the people around us happy, how much time to give them, how to impress them, and maybe we forget to give time to ourselves in this running race. We are not able to give the care, time, attention that we should give ourselves and the truth is that you will be able to keep someone happy only when you are happy. You want the people around you to like you, before that you have to like yourself. But how to do that? How to take care of yourself? How to love yourself? So I am telling five such wonderful ways. Those who teach you to take care of yourself.

Improve Your Mental Diet

Just like we eat good food, stay on diet, do yoga, go to the gym to take care of physical health, similarly something has to be done for mental health. How is your mental diet? You will behave the same way. That will decide how your thoughts will be, how your behavior will be, what will be your mindset. So it is important to understand here that just like junk food is not good for physical diet, similarly do not consume junk news, junk gossips, junk media for mental diet.

Make your boundaries and do not be ashamed of that

Just because someone is doing something. It is not necessary that we also have to do the same because we want that particular group or people to like us. We are not all the same, our thoughts are not the same, our situations are not the same, our choices are not the same.” EVERYBODY IS DIFFERENT IN THERE OWN BEAUTIFUL WAYS”. That is why our boundaries cannot be the same. Do not do that work which you do not feel right, if it seems to be going against your principle. Because if you are thinking that the person in front will leave you, then keeping such people with you is of no use. Who doesn't know how to respect your decision. Don't know the reason behind your no. It is good to stay away from such people .”DO NOT BE ASHAMED OF YOUR OWN BOUNDARIES AND SOMETIMES SAYING NO CAN BE THE BEST FORM OF SELFCARE”.

Leave what’s left behind


I once read very good quote.” LEAVE YOUR PAST WHERE IT IS BEHIND YOU”. The thing which is neither related to your present nor future. If not left behind, it has the power to spoil both your present and future. What is the use of carrying such a past with you? But our attention never goes to this thing, We always remember it and think how that past incident spoiled our experience of that time. But we do not see that it  will do the same in the present if not left behind. If once our attention comes from the past to the present, then automatically we will try to forget it. Just once bring your focus from past to present. That's it .

“THERE IS NO FRIEND AS LOYAL AS A BOOK". It is not necessary that all the time we feel like talking to everyone. or we get to learn something good from everyone. But at that time if anyone can give you all this, then it is a book only. Every book teaches something. It adds value to your life. Make you a little more smarter. So even if it is ten pages or it may be five pages but read daily. Trust me this is going to be a big change in your life.


Talk to yourself everyday


Last one but my favorite one. We always try to talk to people, take advice from them and find solutions by telling our problems. But how many times do we sit calmly and ask ourselves what we think, what is right and wrong in our view? Do we do this? There will hardly be some people who will say yes. Because we consider others better. We reduce our own value. But the truth is that no one knows you better than others. So no one can give you the right advice you can give yourself. I will just  end this article with the amazing quote ”TALK TO YOURSELF ONCE IN A DAY ,OTHERWISE YOU MAY MISS MEETING AN EXCELLENT PERSON IN THIS WORLD".
