5th Birthday Letter To My Daughter....

Harshika Dear Harshika, Today(5June,2021) on your fifth birthday, I have lots of thoughts and emotions running through my mind. We returned to Bengaluru (India) from Canada during the time when Covid-19 was rapidly increasing. You were 4. As per the Karnataka government guidelines, we had stayed in hotel for certain period for quarantine ourselves.  While staying in hotel, we had a big question, where to stay once quarantine period is over. Due to Covid-19, the lockdown also had such an effect that all the shops, offices and malls were closed. In between, we extended our temporary stay in another hotel. On 20 July 2020, we came to our rental apartment, the lockdown was still going on, all the shops were opening only for certain hours in a day. Because of lock down restriction, we managed few days with l

I love Kiwi....

Horse riding in Newzealand Please don't forget to read my previous blogs which you might find interesting. While living here, I personally realized New Zealanders are cool minded, hardworking, and like to spend time roaming various places. Being in Wellington, I learned the following things. What is KIWI? The people of this country are called kiwi; it is a flightless bird. There is also a fruit of this name and who is fond of kiwi fruit, hopes he/she will be able to understand easily. Rent is per week not per month The rental prices for apartments are typically listed on a weekly basis rather than on a monthly basis. It is a confusing but interesting phenomenon which somehow makes the living cost extremely high. Wellington is the windy capital It has a nickname,

Living Experience In Wellington, New Zealand Continue...

Beautiful Scenic view One of the benefits of working there was that I started to   socialize with people. I had made my place very soon   because of my good work. A few customers advised me   to open my own parlor. After working for some time, I   started doing the same job at my own home. I managed   perfectly between home chores and parlor work. As I mentioned earlier, I used to live in the heart of the   city. Hence, soon I got acquainted with many girls of my age who had come with their husbands from India. We had a whatsup group which help us in keeping the communication alive. We did a lot of potluck together and organized a baby shower for few of our friends who were expecting their baby so that they don't have even the slightest feeling that they are alone while staying abroad.  In addition, my husband also used to come home from the office on time. After taking evening snacks, we would go for an evening walk. It had become a daily routine. Moreover, he used to come home da
